FOALING
All imminent mares are fitted with foaling alarms and are monitored 24/7. Vet assistance is close at hand if needed.
Mares are foaled in designated foaling paddocks with safe fencing and shelters.
Newborn foals are weighed and an IgG test is done within 18-20 hours of birth to ensure sufficient antibodies have been transferred from the mare to the newborn.
BREEDING YOUR MARE
Qualified AI technician for fresh, chilled and frozen semen.
Artificial insemination, ultrasound scanning and pregnancy tests are all performed on farm.
Low dose insemination available.
WEANING
On farm between 5 and 6 months of age. Weanlings are taught to lead, tie up, have all of their legs handled, feet picked up, to be groomed, rugged and floated. This services take into account the individual horse and client's needs. They are weaned in small groups and introduced to our nanny gelding which helps them settle.
